Oceana is the largest international organization working solely to protect the world’s oceans. Oceana wins policy victories for the oceans using science-based campaigns. Since 2001, we have protected over 1.2 million square miles of ocean and innumerable sea turtles, sharks, dolphins and other sea creatures. More than 500,000 supporters have already joined Oceana. Global in scope, Oceana has offices in North, South and Central America and Europe.
This May 2012 FLOC met with “OCEANA” and heard from OCEANA’s Board Member Valerie Van Cleave. Hosted by Stillwater in Dana Point, FLOCers networked, engaged and signed-up to volunteer for upcoming OCEANA events! Watch video on the left.
Also, FLOCers were incredibly privileged to have Quy “Q” Nguyen share a few words as the “guest speaker” for FLOC’s 3 Year Anniversary celebration. ~ Considered one of Orange County’s strongest philanthropists, “Q” inspired FLOCers to continue to make a difference in the community and congratulated FLOC on their 3 year achievement.
