Sponsor A Marine and His Family for Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving is a time of “Giving Thanks.” The Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group is working alongside of some wonderful community friends to sponsor a special day of thanks to our Marines, Sailors, and Families. These remarkable individuals have chosen to dedicate their lives to protect and serve the freedoms of all Americans. Our Fighting Fifth Marines have just returned from a year-long deployment in Afghanistan fighting the war on terrorism, and helping the Afghani people to rebuild their infrastructure with roads, schools and hospitals. Many of their brothers made the ultimate sacrifice and did not return home.
Collins Holdings, in conjunction with Mahe, Still Water, and Sunsets Restaurants, will join our Support Organization to host their second annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner at Mahe Restaurant in Dana Point on November 22nd.
This Thanksgiving Dinner, we will be serving the traditional turkey dinner with all the fixings, dessert, open beverage bar, raffle prizes, big screen television for the Turkey Day games. This Thanksgiving Dinner will be open to ANY and ALL Active Duty Marines & Sailors/Family Members plus ALL Wounded Warriors, Veterans, and Gold Star Families who wish to partake.
We are also planning to provide bus transportation from Camp Pendleton to Mahe Restaurant. This will help with the safe passage of anyone who wishes to attend and is concerned about the drive.

Raffle Item Donations
To show our continued support of the Marines, Wounded Warriors, families and Veterans who have sacrificed so much for our country, we plan to host a free raffle for all attendees. The items to be raffled are those most requested. Raffle items can be purchased/donated or cash donations can be used to purchase these items on your behalf. Below is a list of items needed for the raffle:
