The August 2011 FLOC awareness event took place in Corona Del Mar at Landmark Steakhouse Restaurant. FLOCers learned about Fish For Life and the excellent work they do to impact the lives of special needs children.
“I tell you a real common response that I hear from these families is, ‘You know we often feel like such outcasts in the society…and to do something so normal as fishing and to honor these kids for a day who are desperately looking for our love is just amazing.’ And the synergy that is creating by these kids getting together…well it just works! Jim Holden, Director
