Big thank you to everyone who helped make our first FLOC meeting a success. 60+ FLOC members showed up at Purple Feet in Dana Point to learn about the Surfrider Foundation and to volunteer for a beach clean-up. Our next FLOC event is in a week (June 3rd, 7pm) at The Cellar in San Clemente with the mayor. For those of you who haven’t been to The Cellar, it’s a super swanky new wine bar that offers great food and live music every night! Space is limited, so come early to get a seat, network with other FLOC members, and take part in the awesome wine and appetizer specials. Great news! Our July and August meetings have been posted on the Facebook FLOC page! July 8th we will be at Hennessey’s Tavern in Laguna Beach to learn about the Friendship Shelter and August 5th we will be at Mission Hospital! Check out the FLOC events section for more details!
